According to the data from the National Charging Facility Monitoring Service Platform, as of the end of February 2026, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure (guns) in China has reached 21.01 million, a year-on-year increase of 47.8%.
Among them, there were 4.834 million public charging facilities (guns), a year-on-year increase of 28.8%. The total rated power of public charging facilities reached 229 million kilowatts, with an average power of about 47.41 kilowatts; There were 16.176 million private charging facilities (guns), a year-on-year increase of 54.6%, and the reported installed electricity capacity of private charging facilities reached 141 million kilovolt amperes.
